DepED Region X Northern Mindanao covers a total land area of 17,855 square kilometers with 85 municipalities and 2,020 barangays. It is composed of five(5) Provincial Schools Divisions, namely: the landlocked Division of Bukidnon in the South; Misamis Oriental in North; the Paradise Island of Camiguin in the Northeast; Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental in the West Situated within these provinces are the eight(9) City Schools Divisions, namely; Cagayan de Oro; El Salvador; Gingoog; Iligan; Malaybalay; Ozamiz; Oroquieta, Tangub and Valencia.

        Aside from being the entry point of Mindanao, Region is blessed with amazing beaches and natural resources. It boasts of numerous tourist attraction the most famous being the white water rafting in the rivers of Cagayan de Oro City; the white beaches of Iligan and Camiguin and the Dahilayan Zipline of Bukidnon, to mention a few.

    To provide quality basic education that is equitably accessible to all to lay the foundation for lifelong learning and service for the common good.

    To develop a competent, civic-spirited life-skilled and God loving Filipino youth who actively particpates in and contributes towards thw building of humane, healthy and productive society.
